Welcome to My Witness: Will You Join Me?

I didn’t know God. I never knew God revealed Himself to people. It never entered my mind that He would, one day, reveal Himself to me.

I couldn’t have imagined that on the day God revealed Himself to me He would call me into a relationship with Him—and, after I said yes to His call, that He would take me on an unbelievably intense journey to learn the truth. From the beaches of Mexico to a marijuana garden in southern Oregon, from an encounter with Satan to an attempted murder charge, from serving time in jail to a revelation of things to come. Along the way, I would learn who the living truth is: Jesus Christ.

I didn’t expect any of this, therefore, I also didn’t plan on writing my journey into a book, The Incident in the Garden: My Witness for Jesus. Now, with faith in God’s hand upon it, I’m here to share my book with the world.

Who Am I

I’m unknown.

I’m an outsider.

I’m near the bottom of American society.

I’m also a fallen man, struggling with sin, and aside from writing occasionally, I have little to no skills. I’m shy. I avoid confrontation. I’m afraid of public speaking. The one thing I am most proud of is not even my doing. It’s my relationship with God.

I know God—which is why I can be honest about who I am. I can say these things, and it doesn’t bother me, because I know that God loves me beyond measure and values me beyond treasure to the extent that He calls not just me, but all people, His “masterpiece” (Ephesians 2:20).

When you’re with God—you’re free.

Why This Site Exists

This website is my home base.

Here you will find writings about my life—reflections, stories, behind-the-scenes, things I am wrestling with, and more writings as I begin to embark on sharing my witness with the world.

This site exists, then, to be both personal—as I go through life attempting to share my witness with everyone, and promotional for my book because my book is my testimony. It is my witness that, I believe, God wants me to share.

I want this site to be raw. I want this site to be authentic. I want this site to be real.

I will be as raw, authentic, and real as possible—and I want you to join me.

The invitation for you to join me on here is available to you today, but you’ll probably want to know about my book so you’ll know what you’re walking into.

About My Book

The journey I went on, and the book I wrote, is about my encounter with God and the things I witnessed that will change the world forever.

I lived most of my life unsure if God was real. The day I encountered God I felt unimaginably beautiful love coming from Him, for me, and I immediately reciprocated a love for Him that was greater than anything I had ever felt before. After I answered God’s call, and said yes to following Him, my eyes were opened to a world beyond belief. A land of possible impossibilities. A reality where miracles happened, the spirit realm was real, and anything could be possible—or true.

I was beyond grateful for the adventure that I stepped into.

But having never read the Bible, and not really growing up in a Christian household, I was never really educated on God. I was lost without even knowing I was lost. Then one night God would perform a miracle through me that would shatter my worldview forever—when He lit a candle wick aflame through what I have come to call an “invisible flaming breath” that left my mouth. After seeing this miracle, I made a vow in my heart with God. I let Him know that I wanted to learn the truth—the truth about who He is, who I am, and what’s going on in the world.

Not only that, but I wanted to learn the truth, from God—on my own.

God would listen to my vow, and He would deliver.

Over the next roughly two years I would travel to Mexico where God would teach me about sin and the cost of following Him. I’d return to the states and get a job at a legal marijuana garden in southern Oregon where God would teach me about His Kingdom. I would encounter Satan and he’d try and get me to take my life. Shortly after that I would fall into a deceived state of mind, and, sadly, commit a crime and was charged with attempted murder. I was sent to jail—but my story doesn’t stop there. In jail I would have more demonic encounters, experience more supernatural phenomena, would receive more words from God, and so much more. And, importantly—probably most importantly—God would give me powerful visions of things to come.

While I was in jail I would come to see who Jesus is as God, Messiah, and King. I was baptized in the name of Christ. And now I live to serve the King.

The next part of my journey, and the rest of my book, I still need to live out and then write. It has to do with, God willing, sharing my witness with the world. Therefore, the last page of my book ends with this:

To be continued….

Where I’m at Now

Today ( 7/13/26), I am living in Portland, OR—and I am not a totally free man.

Here’s why.

Back when I entered jail I knew that God wanted me to tell the truth about everything I had been through. When I met my lawyers I told them pretty much everything. After telling them my story, they suggested that I take a psychological evaluation. Having gone to school a little bit for psychology—I knew where this was heading.

I knew the psychologist I would see thought, strictly, scientifically—and my journey was far from scientific. I knew that he would most likely reject my supernatural experiences. And I knew that he would, most likely, chop everything I went through down to insanity. Nevertheless, as I said, I was there to tell the truth.

I wasn’t surprised, then, when the psychologist diagnosed me as mentally ill.

During my year and four months in county jail, as I was praying to God about what to do with my case—and not getting any advice from Him—I told God that I was going to let Him work through my lawyers. I asked my lawyers what we should do with my trial, and they suggested that I plead out ‘guilty except insane’ (GEI).

I listened to my lawyers, and would plead out GEI.

When you plead out GEI, the way it works is that you are given the maximum sentence for your crime. I got 20 years. But, instead of going to prison, when you’re GEI, you’re sent to Oregon State Hospital (OSH) and you can get out as soon as the doctors say you’re good to go. I would spend two years and one month at OSH, and was released in December of 2020 under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB).

Think of the PSRB like mental health parole.

As you read this I am most likely still under the board. I’m living independently now—but under strict observation. I’m thirty-seven years old, and I forget the specific day I will be let go from the PSRB, but I know I will be fourty-nine years old when it happens.

Hence, why I am not a totally free man.

What I Am Up Against

Ever since my diagnosis my life, and my journey, has been viewed as a case of mental illness.

According to the mental health field—of which I imagine most of the world believes in—I’m “broken”. Everything I experienced is nonsense, and questionable at best. My encounter with God, the miracle I witnessed, Satan, and everything else—probably not real. From the perspective of some, according to the last psychiatrist I had, when I asked him what parts of my story are the product of said mental illness, he replied, “All of it.”

This is what I am up against—and I thank God for where I am at.

It’s wild to say, and it was probably a wild move on my part, too, but even after being warned by some of my good friends in jail not to share my story with the psychologist—for they feared me getting locked up in an insane asylum and the key thrown away—I shared my story anyways. I knew God wanted me to share the truth, and I was not afraid of the outcome. On the contrary, I saw it as an opportunity.

I knew how wrong the mental health field was. And I knew how confused its perspective of reality was too. The way I saw it, was that if I could get myself diagnosed as mentally ill, then I could bury myself deep in the mental health system. I could get an eye witness account of how lost the system was. I could bury myself in its darkness, and then, God willing, I could dig myself out.

I could expose the darkness.

Glory be to God.

And we’re just getting started.

My Invitation to You

You know a little bit about me now. I was once your typical guy chasing his worldly dreams—until I encountered God and, praise the Almighty, He changed everything.

Now, I am here to share my witness, and I believe I find myself in a very strategic position.

I’m an unknown outsider near the bottom rungs of society. I’m not someone you would ever pick to influence, let alone make an impact, in anything. I’m certified criminally insane, and, therefore, according to the standards of the world and the mental health field—I can’t be trusted. But, the world doesn’t know God.

God, historically, has a way of flipping the worlds script. He takes the least expected and uses them to blow expectations out of the water. He takes the lowest of the low and raises them up. He takes the weakest and uses them to defeat the strong. When it comes to my life, I can not boast of high expectations. I can not brag about any prestige or being in a high place. I can not flex any incredible strengths. I’m not even saying that I, in myself, am here to do anything—but if anything does happen—you’ll know that it was God that brought it into being.

Glory be to God! And long live the King!

Like I said, my book is not done yet.

The second part of my journey is about to begin.
