The best day of my life and the worst day of my life would happen back to back.
On July 7, 2017, as I passed the threshold above into heaven, as the Kingdom of God burst free from within me and within all things outside of me as the most unimaginably brilliant light I could see without seeing, God would communicate to me that I was reborn and brought into the heavenly family. At that moment, God filled me to overflowing with His love, and I, enraptured, poured out my never-ending love for Him. This was, by far, the greatest moment of my life.
Shortly after this… I became lost.
The next day I would, unfortunately, fall into a deceived state of mind, commit a crime, and be charged with attempted murder. This was the worst day of my life.
Now, you can take what the mental health field has concluded about me—that I am mentally ill. And you can agree with how the justice system has judged me—that I am criminally insane. You can side with the world and think to yourself that I am another broken and unfit individual, or, you can travel with me as I share my story—what I know, deep in my heart, to be the truth.
My story begins back in the summer of 2016 when I was unsure if God was real. During an unexpected divine encounter with God, He would reveal Himself to me as Almighty, Father, and King. As soon as God revealed Himself to me—I would give up everything to follow Him.
I would travel to Mexico where God revealed to me the truth about sin and the cost of following Him. I’d return to the states and get a job at a legal marijuana farm where God would teach me about His Kingdom. I’d encounter Satan, he would enter into me, and try to get me to take my own life. I, sadly, committed the crime and was sent to jail—but my story doesn’t stop there. While I was in jail God would reveal to me part of my purpose to lead people to faith in Him. I’d have more demonic encounters, witness more supernatural phenomena, and, importantly, receive revelation of things to come. Eventually, God would lead me through it all to the moment I would see who Jesus is as God, Messiah, and King.
I was baptized in jail. And I know, through and through, that Jesus wants me to share my witness with you.
Thus, here’s my invitation. If your eyes are open, there’s more to see. If your eyes are closed, it’s time for you to believe. If you’re unsure where you’re at, then, I earnestly ask you… come and learn the truth Jesus revealed to me.
